Ingredients
› 200 g of tinned chickpeas, or dried chickpeas that have been soaked
and cooked
› 2 tsp of lemon juice
› 1 clove of garlic
› 50 ml of tahini
› salt and pepper, to taste
› 100 ml of water
› a little olive oil (optional)

Method
1. Put the chickpeas, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt and pepper in a
bowl and blend
2. Add a little of the water to make a stiff paste
3. The amount of water you need will vary so add a little at a time
4. You can add a little more salt and pepper or lemon juice to taste
5. You can also add some olive oil for extra richness, but extra oil
means extra calories
