Tandoori Chicken

 1 chicken, cut into 4 pieces (750 grams)
MARINATE CHICKEN
 1 tbsp ginger paste
 1 tbsp garlic gaste
 2 tbsp lemon juice
 4 tbsp yogurt
 5 tbsp tandoori masala
TEMPERING
 2 tbsp oil
 ½ tsp mustard seeds
 ½ tsp cumin seeds
 5 round red chillies
 2 twig curry leaves
SAUCE
 ½ cup mayonnaise
 ½ tsp garlic paste
 4 tbsp fresh corriander, grounded into paste with little oil
GARNISH
 Salad leaves
 Onions ring
 Cucumber slices
FOR CHICKEN

Wash and dry the chicken.

Incise deep cuts in the chicken.

Mix all the ingredients of marinade in a bowl, rub marinade thoroughly over the chicken.

Rest the chicken for 30 minutes.

Heat oil and add all ingredients of tempering.

Crackle spices for few seconds then add chicken.

Flip chicken to coat it with the tempering.

Add water and cover the pan.

Cook for 20 minutes on medium heat until tender.

Serve chicken with fresh salad and cilantro aioli drizzled over it.

FOR SAUCE

Prepare the sauce by grounded corriander with little oil into a paste.

Mix paste with mayonnaise and garlic paste.
